DERMAPLANING
DERMAPLANING
Dermablading, also known as dermaplaning or dermablade, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape the surface of the skin, removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as peach fuzz). This non-invasive exfoliation method is often performed by skincare professionals, such as dermatologists or licensed estheticians.

HOW IT WORKS:
During your dermaplaning session a scalpel gently glides along your skin at a 45-degree angle to exfoliate your skin and remove hair.

BENEFITS:
Dermaplaning provides a manual exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin resulting in improved skin texture, increased cell turnover, and a smoother complexion.

Peach Fuzz Removal:
Dermaplaning effectively removes fine vellus hair from the face, commonly known as peach fuzz resulting in smoother skin texture and a more even application of makeup.

Enhanced Product Absorption:
By removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, dermaplaning can enhance the absorption of skincare products resulting in increased efficacy of serums, moisturizers, and other topical treatments.

Reduced Appearance of Fine Lines:
Dermaplaning can contribute to the reduction of the appearance of fine lines and superficial wrinkles resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

Brightened Complexion:
Exfoliation and removal of peach fuzz can result in a brighter and more radiant complexion resulting in improved skin tone and a healthy glow.

Safe for Most Skin Types:
Dermaplaning is generally safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin resulting in a versatile exfoliation option suitable for a wide range of individuals.

Instant Results:
Results are often visible immediately after the procedure resulting in instantly smoother and softer skin.

Non-Invasive:
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure that does not require chemicals or significant downtime

CONSIDERATIONS:
The frequency of dermaplaning treatments may vary depending on individual skincare needs, but it is often done every 3-4 weeks. Following dermaplaning, it's crucial to use sunscreen and avoid excessive sun exposure to protect the newly revealed skin. Individuals with active acne, certain skin conditions, or those prone to keloid scarring may not be suitable candidates for dermaplaning.
